Mitsi is the former CEO and co-founder of Rocket Corp. She is now retired and is using her freetime to rebuild the Blindspot as a memorial.

Appearance

Mitsi is almost entirely covered in thin, wild pale fur. She wears the same crimson bandana she's had since she became a scout, and she prefers to tie her chest fur the keep it out the way. She likes to wear a gray apron to protect most of her fur, and has a toolbelt on her abdomen. Mitsi, as a diligent worker, almost always has dirt and oil stains in her fur. It also isn't uncommon to see burnt fur from soldering and exposed wires. Eyebags are common under her eyes.

After being rescued, Mitsi has a crooked antenna, less dense fur, is thinner, and is missing a stinger. She also is almost always seen with crutches.

Personality

Mitsi is a bug known for her kindness, and especially her stubbornness. When she sets her mind to something, it is near impossible to convince her otherwise. She also very easily gets swept up into projects, usually to the point of exhaustion if not interrupted.

Despite growing up in the Wasp Kingdom, she was one of the rare wasps who actually agreed with the Queen's declaration of pacifism. Because of this, she greatly disliked the kingdom's military traditions, and it grew into a strong detest of violence overall.

History

Rise of Rocket Corp

Mitsi grew up in the Wasp Kingdom under the Queen's controversial declaration of pacifism. Despite this, the Queen kept the militaristic traditions. Mitsi grew up with a spear in one hand from the moment she pupated, and was eventually thrust into various training to decide where she'd be placed. She ended up getting stuck as a scout, and tried to take solace in it, since she wouldn't be hurting anyone or anything. Her job was mostly escorting Roaches and travelers through the Giant's Lair. During one expedition, she found Victim.

Victim was brought back to the hive, and there it was figured out that he was a cordyceps and a locust. Her curiosity piqued, she lingered nearby him until he woke up. They were lucky he woke up aware with a mind still intact. Mitsi helped him as he recovered, partially because she found the locust endearing, and partially because she wanted to get out of scouting. When he recovered, he went through the same training she did, as he didn't have anywhere to go, and every citizen of the kingdom needed military training.

Mitsi and Victim grew close, both often encouraging the other out of their comfort zones, and were eventually stationed for an outpost stationed just outsid the borders of Bugaria. They spent a lot of time in the outpost, Mitsi growing to dislike the Wasp Kingdom the more she thought of it. Thankfully the outpost was a breath of fresh air, as they mostly tended to injured travelers and acted as resting point. Some people decided to stay, and the outpost-now-settlement began to ran out of space. They dubbed the settlement the Blindspot, and Mitsi finally found a brand new passion in creating. It started with housing, and then machinery, and she quickly began to thrive. Victim was great at designing blueprints, while she thrived in putting them to life.

The two founded Rocket Corp, a small tech company. She made the decision for avoiding Roach crystals in any and all technology, as they gave Victim a migraine. Rocket slowly became a name for known as they started exporting their creations as well as expanding their new home. They even hired security in the form of Agent, who surprisingly became another close friend and the missing third they didn't know they needed. It wasn't made to last though, and eventually the talk of the town brought in the Chosen One and Dark Lord.

The two set fire to the town, which quickly spread in the form of non-stop flames and explosions. Reinforcements couldn't be sent in time, and while Mitsi, Victim, and Agent got out, Mitsi couldn't stand the thought of how many friends and family were still in the fire. Agent tried stopping her, but as the entire town knew: when she set her mind to something it was impossible to convince her otherwise. She went back into the fire to get out whoever she could. Agent followed after her to drag her out, and before he could get close, rubble fell atop her.

It was terrifying for her. She didn't want to die, and she tried to remind herself that at least she helped people, but it did little to calm her down. Agent tried to pull the rubble off, but was cut off by an explosion and the Chosen One standing between them. Agent couldn't stay in the smoke for long, his chitin was thin and the heat was eating away at it, and the smoke was already choking his fragile lungs, so he had no choice but to run. The explosion knocked her out, but her exo-skeleton kept her from being crushed, and the thick fur bought her time as it burned away.

Team Pincer was sent to retrieve bodies and look for survivors. The only one they found was Mitsi, who was in critical condition. They brought her back to the Wasp Kingdom to stabilize her.

Post-Canon

Mitsi spent many moons unconscious, and much, much longer in recovery. She had to reteach herself how to walk, eat, and simply function after being trapped in a coma. It took years, but she relearned the essentials with minimal damage. She still uses crutches as her lower body is sensitive and it pains her to stand for long. She tried getting into contact with Victim and Agent, but the two had moved outside the Wasp Kingdom, so contact wasn't easy. By the time she found out about their location, she had heard about what Rocket Corp. had done.

She felt betrayed that they had begun manufacturing weapons. Both Victim and Agent knew how much she was disturbed by violence, and Agent was always keen on just knocking people out with minimal damage because of it. They both always respected it, and while she had a feeling they didn't know she was still alive, it hurt her deeply. Rocket was supposed to help people, but the more she dug the worse it got. Employees were unhappy, it was relocated to the Termite Kingdom because working laws were more leniant there. Even her former co-workers and employees said they quit because of it.

She spent a lot of time thinking about it. She wanted to see her partners again, but she wasn't sure if they'd be the same people she cared for so closely. They were hurting people, going against her wishes when they thought she was gone. Reluctantly, she made the decision to keep herself away from Rocket. It was no different than the Wasp Army, which was everything she wanted to escape from. She retired early, and decided to visit the Blindspot again.

Nature was slowly beginning to reclaim the remnants of her home, and so she started small. She was still disabled, and she couldn't afford to push herself the way she used to. She spent time slowly planting a small garden of flowers, and returned often to add more and more. While doing this, she often ran into old friends and family, who were happy to join her. Some were people she saved. None were Victim nor Agent.

She decided to spend more time here. She'd know if her Victim and Agent were still the people she loved if they returned. But they were just now an occasional thought in the back of her head. She had to focus on rebuilding.
