A two panel drawing of human depictions of the original King and Blue characters with their assigned bugs. King is an older man with short grey hair and yellow glasses, holding up a terrarium with a violin mantis in it. Blue is young teen with brown hair with sticks and leaves in it, looking up in awe at some blue ghost styles.
A two panel drawing of human depictions of the original Dark Lord and Purple characters with their assigned bugs. Dark is a late teen with dark gray hair past the shoulders and a blue-screen covering his face. He is holding a red and black paper wsap on his hand. Purple is a young teen with black hair and is wearing his elytra like a backpack. There is a mothfly on his nose causing him to scrunch up his face.

Welcome to Bugaria!

A stamp of a purple anthro mothfly slam dunking a basketball with the text 'ive balled so hard' NOTE: This site is still very early in development. I'm only a beginner and still learning both HTML and CSS and this site is a personal playground to test amd practice, while also supplying information for a passion project! This site is likely to go through many renovations and changes in the future, as well as not work the best on mobile. I have many things I want to do, and I hope y'all enjoy seeing the site and AU as it grows!

Hello! Welcome to the Animation vs. Bug Fables (AKA Stickbug) AU Wiki! This is a personal passion project of mine to archive all of the current information for this AU!. I hope to make this a comprehensible way to take in everything for my AU in the future, rather than through ramblings on Tumblr or Discord. It's insane how much this AU has spun out of control, and I'm glad to have you all for the ride!

Credits & Inspirations

This AU was created by multiple people!

A drawing depicting Doc as an anthro thistledown velvet ant. They are holding a tablet pen and smiling. The first is WTFGayLittleZooid! I also go by Doc or Catmint (he/they). Currently, I am the one who is making this website! I am learning as I go along and will gladly take any advice in order to make this place more visibly appealing, comprehensible, and accessible. I was the one who had the original idea for the AU after my friend Tato introduced me to the video game Bug Fables while I was fixating on Animator vs Animation. I had some of the basic overall ideas, but the next person was the one who really breathed life into the AU!
The next is Tato-Likes-Sticks! Also known as Tato (she/they). Tato has done so much for this AU it is absolutely insane. She's done multiple designs, created many characters, and has given me SO many ideas. This AU would not exist without them. Everyone thank Tato.
Our resident bug expert is GrapeEnthusiast! Editor (he/she/its/3e/others). 3e has helped SO much with introducing us to bugs we didn't know about or even consider! Without 3im the bugs chosen for everyone would be a lot less fitting and a lot more dull.
A graphic depicting a computer cursor surrounded by pixel fire. The original creator of Animator vs Animation, Alan Becker, obviously plays a massive part in this AU. Mostly everything in this AU stems from his creativity and ideas. I highly reccomend giving the original series a watch!
An icon presenting the words 'Bug Fables'. Since we are utilizing the world of Bugaria, I have to credit the original Bug Fables: The Everlasting Saplng video game! The original game is a wonderful turn-based RPG inspired off of the original Paper Mario games. The worldbuilding and characters in it are so charming that I couldn't stop thinking about it. I highly reccomnend it for a fun RPG experience.
